The author and performer of the lyrical chanson is Evgeny Alekseevich Konovalov, born on December 17, 1979, in a small Siberian town - Usolye-Sibirskoye, in the Irkutsk region. Almost immediately after birth, the family moved to the neighboring city of Angarsk. Zhenya began to comprehend the musical field at the age of two, like all children, performing in front of relatives from a stool, singing “Bird of Happiness” and “Katyusha”... Further - more...

At the insistence of her mother, Zhenya enters a music school in the accordion class. Initially, it was planned to study the guitar, but due to the full range and lack of vacancies for this instrument, the choice fell on the button accordion. The stamina to practice an unwanted instrument was enough for exactly three years. With this, the development of musical granite successfully ended.

After the fifth grade, due to the move, Zhenya is transferred to school No. 38, where he meets his classmate and friend for many years - Roman Borzenkov. One day, sitting in a Russian language lesson, already in the 7th grade, Roman suggested composing a song... The effect of the overall composing made a special impression on Evgeniy. Another song was written next. Just a couple of days later, Roman and Evgeniy performed two of their works with a guitar at an art song competition live on local radio. The next day, they came to school "famous". At one point, Zhenya begins to write her first love songs on her own. Well, the incentive for this was, of course, love itself. Sincere love for a girl from a parallel class named Tatyana.

After the ninth grade, Evgeniy enters vocational school No. 32, majoring in mechanical engineering. At that time, at the school there was a studio of pop art, under the direction of a famous musician in the city - Evgeny Yakushenko (father of violinist Artyom Yakushenko from the duet "White Prison"). Evgeny successfully studies in this studio, touring the Irkutsk region with young performers like him.

After college - military service. The song “For Friends” was also written there. After completing military service at the training center of the Krasnodar Military Institute FAPSI, in a company of reserve officers, Evgeniy retired to civilian life with the rank of junior lieutenant in the reserve. Immediately they begin recording their songs at Mikhail Prozorov’s home studio. Evgeniy also collaborates with Viktor Zherebtsov and Eduard Pokrovsky. The "demo" recordings spread throughout the city with great speed through word of mouth. The songs could be heard anywhere. Realizing that they are “going to the people,” Evgeniy provides himself with incentive to write new songs.

By that time he was working at an electrolysis chemical plant. A sensitive uranium enrichment facility accepts Evgeniy as a 4th category mechanic. He devoted six years to hazardous production, while simultaneously studying at the Angarsk State Technical Academy, specializing as an engineer in electrochemical production technology.

In March 2005, the day before his own wedding, that same school friend Roman Borzenkov tragically passed away. For Evgeniy it was a shock, from which he recovered for several long years. A song was written in memory of a friend.

In 2007, Evgeniy changes jobs. He gets a job as the chief of staff of civil defense and emergency situations in an energy company.

No matter how you look at it, the music takes over. The quality of the recordings began to leave much to be desired. In May 2009, Evgeniy participates in the city festival "Golden Voices" and receives the "audience award." After, in January 2010, participation in the “Walk the Soul” festival, at the invitation of the Moscow chansonnier Lyalya Razmakhova. In June 2010, participation in the Black Rose festival in Ivanovo. A duet song was recorded at the station. and music Evgenia Konovalova "Strange" performed with the star of lyrical chanson Lyubov Shepilova.

Evgeniy believes in his creativity, in his songs. Counts on the fact that they will be loved not only at the level of their hometown, but will also win much greater recognition. You just need to do what you do best. From now on, songs are recorded in the city of Irkutsk, in Andrei Volchenkov’s studio, with the calculation of quality ratio, for rotation on the radio. Evgeniy provides services for writing custom songs for lyrical chanson artists, as well as songs for the women's repertoire. He is grateful to everyone who supports him in the musical field. First of all, to my family and friends, and of course to the Lord God, for my inexhaustible supply of creative baggage.

His favorite phrase is “Everything in this life is from God.” After such words, there is no doubt that if a person is gifted from above to compose and sing beautiful songs with deep meaning, then it is the heavenly power that will allow and help Eugene to bring his creativity to the masses, giving people only positive, “healing” emotions.

Evgeny Konovalov: biography

Evgeny Konovalov is a popular Russian performer in the chanson style. A sincere love for music, the ability to write and soulfully perform lyrical songs brought the simple working guy recognition from many of his fans. The artist works hard on his career, as evidenced by four solo albums, actively collaborates with other artists and helps young talents.
Evgeny Konovalov was born on December 17, 1979 in the city of Usolye-Sibirskoye (Irkutsk region) in the most ordinary family. Soon the parents of the future chanson star moved to the city of Angarsk, located very close to their previous place of residence. It was there that this active and talented child spent his childhood and school years.

Evgeniy Konovalov

At first, Evgeniy studied at school No. 25. The boy was a real bully, so his mother was often forced to make excuses to his class teacher. During one of these conversations, the teacher recommended sending her son to a music school so that he could direct his energy in a useful direction. Moreover, Evgeniy began demonstrating musical abilities at the age of three. More than once the boy stood on a stool and enthusiastically performed the songs “Katyusha”, “Bird of Happiness”, etc., popular in those years, in front of his relatives.
At a music school, Evgeniy studied accordion. At first, the parents wanted the boy to master playing the guitar, but since enrollment in this area was stopped, they decided to choose the button accordion. As a result, Konovalov attended school for three years and was quite satisfied with his education.

Evgeniy Konovalov in childhood and youth

Later, the family moved to another district of Angarsk, and Evgeniy began to attend school No. 38. There he met his new classmates, among whom was Roman Borzenkov, who later became his best friend.
When the guys were in 7th grade, Roman suggested that Konovalov compose a song. The guys successfully completed this task, and Evgeniy simply fell in love with writing poetry. Soon they write the lyrics for the second song, and a couple of days later the friends go to a music competition to perform their debut compositions on local radio. Evgeny and Roman returned to school as real celebrities. Since 1995, Evgeny Konovalov begins to write songs on his own, and his first youthful love gives him inspiration.

At the end of nine grades, Evgeniy decides to study as a mechanical technician at school No. 32. It can be assumed that this choice was not accidental, because the school had a pop art studio, led by a talented musician, Evgeniy Yakushenko (father of violinist Artyom Yakushenko).
At school, Evgeniy was most interested not in the subjects of his specialty, but in music. He began to actively study in a pop studio and, together with other guys, often toured with concerts around the Irkutsk region.

Having received a diploma as a mechanical technician, Konovalov was drafted into the army, but even there he did not forget about his passion. Away from his family and friends, he wrote the soulful song “For Friends.” At the end of his military service at the training center of the military institute in Krasnodar, the talented guy leaves the army with the rank of junior lieutenant in the reserve.

Music

What followed was a wonderful time of self-discovery and the desire to discover one’s creative abilities. Evgeniy begins to actively record songs in Mikhail Prozorov's studio. In addition, Konovalov collaborates with Eduard Pokrovsky and Viktor Zherebtsov. The compositions recorded during this period soon became popular among the residents of Angarsk thanks to the good old word of mouth.
Evgeniy was full of musical ideas and wanted to develop further. However, music has not yet brought him a stable income. The guy was forced to work as a mechanic at a chemical plant. He worked hard for six years in this rather hazardous industry. But being an ambitious person, Evgeniy continues to study. His choice fell on the Angarsk Technical Academy, and after graduating he deservedly received the qualification of an engineer.

Evgeny Konovalov in his youth

In 2007, Konovalov got a job at the energy company in his city. Despite a fairly solid position, he decides to quit his job and focus exclusively on music. In one of the studios in Irkutsk, the aspiring singer re-recorded his best songs at that time: “For Friends”, “Olya”, “Close People”, “I Can’t Live Without You”, etc. After this, Evgeniy’s compositions began to appear in pirated chanson collections, which indicated their demand.
In May 2009, the young performer decides to take part in the Golden Voices festival (Angar) and even wins the audience award. Next year he participates in two festivals at once: “Walk the Soul” (Moscow) and “Black Rose” (Ivanovo). In addition, in 2010, Evgeniy, together with chanson performer Lyubov Shepilova, recorded the song “Strange”, which became very popular, and the names of the singers became even more recognizable.

In 2012, significant progress was made in the career of the young artist. He presented his first album entitled “Thank you for the love.” It included 13 songs, the words and music of which were written by Konovalov himself.
In the same year, many of Evgeniy’s compositions were included in the database of Ukrainian Radio Chanson. As a result, the young singer’s best songs (for example, “I’ll kill you,” “Where to run,” “Don’t yell,” “White Roses,” etc.) participated in the hit parade of this radio station.
Konovalov continued his fruitful collaboration with Lyubov Shepilova, and in 2013 their second joint composition, “How Sorry I Am,” appeared. In addition, Evgeniy’s duet with the talented singer Galina Zhuravleva turned out to be no less interesting. The result of their collaboration was the romantic and tender song “White Snow”. In the same year, the second album of the talented performer in the chanson style was released under the beautiful title “White Roses”.
Today, Konovalov’s songs are performed by many popular pop artists. For example, among them it should be noted Alexander Marshal, Galina Zhuravleva, Arthur Rudenko, Lyubov Shepilova, Oleg Golubev and others. In addition, Evgeniy actively collaborates with the Ukrainian author and performer Alexander Zakshevsky. It was he who arranged almost all of Konovalov’s latest compositions.
Due to his increased popularity, Evgeny is forced to frequently travel from Angarsk to Moscow. In addition, he often tours various cities in Russia and neighboring countries. Also in 2014 (from February to June), Konovalov played the role of the lead singer of the popular project “Andrei Bandera”.

Evgeny Konovalov now

However, the talented guy decided not to limit his activities to the development of the project under someone else’s name and the very next year he presented his third original album, “Mom Don’t Cry.” At the same time, the artist’s work finds a response in the souls of more and more people. It is not surprising that already in April 2016 the fourth album entitled “Three Chords” appeared.
At the same time, the popular musician and singer strives to help other creative individuals. Thus, he supports the original and original countrywoman performer Lyubov Popova. The aspiring singer is working on her first album, which will include many compositions written by Evgeny Konovalov and other authors (for example, Irina Yakushkina and Irina Demidova).

Personal life

Evgeniy Konovalov has always aroused increased interest among the fair sex. A handsome, tall guy, who was distinguished by his slightly hooligan behavior and talent for creating touching love songs, could not help but attract the attention of both his classmates and many fans of his work.
However, in his personal life the guy demonstrates enviable consistency. Having found a soul mate, he decided to get married and became an exemplary family man. His wedding to his beautiful wife took place in March 2005. Since then, the loving couple has lived happily together.

Evgeny Konovalov with his wife

There is a tragic story connected with the artist’s wedding. The day before the celebration, Konovalov’s school friend, Roman Borzenkov, passed away. It was a heavy blow for Evgeniy, from which he could not recover for a long time.

Evgeniy Konovalov with his daughter

The chanson performer always speaks very touchingly about his chosen one and states that his wife is “medicine and salvation” for him, because it was she who inspired him to write all his hits. The artist loves children very much, and therefore the birth of his daughters Elizaveta and Svetlana was a real gift of fate for him.
