Oster Grigory Bentsionovich

"Charging for the Tail" is the most complete collection of their stories. All stories are built on dialogues between characters who solve difficult questions for them: where did hello go, how to measure a boa constrictor, how to teach a parrot to fly.

One of Auster’s early books, “Legends and Myths of Laurel Lane,” was written with cunning, imagination, and masterful play on words. Its heroine, the shepherd Lada, tells all sorts of stories to her puppies.

No less interesting is G. Oster’s book “A Tale with Details”. It contains a lot of verbal finds, confusion, wordplay, inversions

G. Oster created a whole library of “textbooks” (“Zadachnik”, “Physics”). These are, as the author puts it, “beloved aids.” And any task develops not so much knowledge in mathematics or physics, but a sense of humor.

G. B. Oster invented new sciences, for example, “Nothing Science,” “Candy Eating,” “Writing,” “Housing Studies,” and others. Textbooks on these useful subjects have already been published.

Being already a famous author, G. Oster wrote his most famous book “ Bad advice" In an outwardly humorous, but in fact very important preface to the book, the author claims that there are such naughty children in the world who like to do everything the other way around. They are given helpful advice: wash your face in the morning, and they blame scientists who supposedly came up with the idea of giving such children not useful, but harmful advice. They will do everything the other way around, and it will turn out right.

During the classes

    Organizing time

Hello guys. My name is Victoria Vladimirovna. Today I will teach you a literary reading lesson. Now I suggest you repeat after me.

Let's say "hello" with our hands!

Let's say "hello" with our eyes!

Let's say "hello" with our mouths -

There will be joy all around.

Today in class I will give out cards for correct answers. At the end of the lesson, we will check who has collected more cards, he will have a higher score.

Stages of working with text:

First stage. Before reading.

Guys, today we will get acquainted with the work of Grigory Oster. He now lives in Moscow. He is 69 years old. He has a big family. He wrote all his books for his children and published those that were interesting to them.

Look at the slide. Are these characters familiar to you?

Read what work we will get acquainted with today in class.

Are you familiar with the characters in this work?

Name who you see. (baby elephant, monkey, boa constrictor, parrot)

Now I suggest you watch a fragment of the cartoon without sound, and your task is to think about what these characters are talking about.

View fragment.

Can you guess what they are talking about?

Now, let's watch it with sound.

View fragment.

Guys, what are they doing?

What genre do you think this work belongs to? (On the screen: a riddle, a story, a poem, fairy tale )

Why? Prove that this is a fairy tale, not a story.

Where does the action take place? (on screen: Africa, Jungle, Northern Polis, Mountains, Desert)

Second phase. Teacher reading a work, children listening

G. Oster

LET'S BE Familiar

Hello, dear Child!

Writes to you children's writer. This writer is me. My name is Grigory Oster. I don’t know what your name is, but I can guess.

And I also guess that you want to hear some kind of fairy tale. If I guess correctly, then listen. And if I guess wrong and you don’t want to listen to the story, then don’t listen. The fairy tale will not go anywhere, it will wait for you.

- How can a work wait for us?

Come whenever you want, and you will hear it all from beginning to end.

But you, dear Child, don’t stay too long, otherwise you will become an adult and it will no longer be so interesting for you to listen to a fairy tale about a baby elephant, a monkey, a boa constrictor and a parrot.

- Why won’t we be interested in listening to him anymore? (children's assumptions)

This baby elephant, parrot, boa constrictor and monkey lived in Africa.

Every day they got together and came up with something interesting.

- What could they come up with? (children's assumptions)

Or they were just talking. Or the monkey sang funny songs, and the boa constrictor, the baby elephant and the parrot listened and laughed. Or the baby elephant asked smart questions, and the monkey, parrot and boa constrictor answered. Or a baby elephant and a monkey would take a boa constrictor and twirl it like a jump rope, and the parrot would jump over it.

And everyone had fun, especially the boa constrictor. The baby elephant, the parrot, the boa constrictor and the monkey were always glad that they knew each other and played together. Therefore, everyone was surprised when the monkey once said:

Oh, what a pity that we know each other!

Aren't you interested in being with us? - the parrot was offended.

No, you didn't understand me! – the monkey waved his hands.

- How did the monkey wave its arms? Show

That's not what I wanted to say at all. I wanted to say: what a pity that we already know each other.

- Why is the monkey sorry that they already know each other? (children's assumptions)

It would be interesting for us all to meet again. I would love to meet you, baby elephant, you are so polite, with you, parrot, you are so smart, with you, boa constrictor, you are so long.

And I,” said the boa constrictor, “would love to meet you, monkey, you, little elephant, and you, parrot.”

And I, said the little elephant. - With pleasure.

But we already know each other! – the parrot shrugged.

- How did the parrot shrug his shoulders? Show

That’s what I’m saying,” the monkey sighed. - What a pity!

- How did the monkey sigh? Show (using a live picture)

Friends! – the boa constrictor suddenly said and waved his tail. - Why don’t we meet again!

I suggest you take a little break from the text and carefully observe what is happening on the screen. Take a look at every new element.

Visual physical exercise

You can’t meet someone twice in a row! - said the parrot.

- Why can’t you meet twice in a row? (children's assumptions)

If you know someone, then it’s forever. There's nothing you can do about it.

“And we,” the little elephant suggested, “let’s take it and get to know each other first!”

Right! - said the boa constrictor. – Let’s go our separate ways, and then we’ll meet by chance and get to know each other.

Oh! – the baby elephant became worried.

- Why was the baby elephant worried? (children's assumptions)

What if we don't meet by chance?

Well, that’s just not a problem! - said the parrot. “If we don’t meet by chance, we’ll meet on purpose later.”

- How is this “on purpose”? (children's assumptions)

The monkey covered her eyes with her hands and shouted:

One two three four five!

I'm starting to not know you!

Scatter, scatter,

To meet again!

- Now read this counting rhyme all together.

When the monkey opened his eyes, there was no one there. Then a baby elephant came out from behind a tree. A boa constrictor crawled out of the grass. And a parrot crawled out from under a bush. Everyone looked at each other kindly and began to get to know each other.

- What does it mean to “look kindly”? Like this? (children's assumptions)

The monkey shook the parrot's wing.

- Shake each other's wings (use of living pictures, children shake hands)

The parrot shook the baby elephant's trunk. The baby elephant shook the boa constrictor's tail. And they all said to each other: “Let's get to know each other!” And then they said: “It was very nice to meet you!”

And it really was so pleasant that from then on they met every day twice a day.

In the morning, when we met, and in the evening, when we said goodbye, before going to bed.

(From the book “Tail Exercise”)

Now show me how many cards you have. Show them to your teacher and she will give you a grade.

Third stage. Working with the text after reading.

Why do we need this story?(children's assumptions)

What can we learn from it?(children's assumptions)

How did the characters treat each other?

What did you do when you got together?

Why were they once surprised by the Monkey’s words? What did she suggest?

Why did the animals repeat the game several times?

Fourth stage. Reflection. Lesson summary.

Today we got acquainted with only one story published in the book “38 Parrots”. There is more in this book interesting story, which is called "Hello". Let's look at a fragment from this story.

Watching a cartoon

I suggest you say hello to Monkey. You have your palm on your desk. Color it in appropriate colors. If you liked the lesson and everything was clear - green. Those who had difficulties - yellow. And those who were not interested in the lesson - red.

(palm analysis)

Now put your palms in my basket and I will definitely convey your greetings to Monkey.

Homework.

And at home, I suggest you draw your own book cover.

What should be on the cover of a book? (author, title of the tale, illustration)

Slide 1

Slide 2

One of the most widely read and published children's writers today, he was born in Odessa into a sailor's family. He began writing poetry at the age of 16. The first collection was published in Murmansk in 1975, when the writer served as a sailor in the Northern Fleet. Correspondence studies at the Literary Institute took 12 years. During this time, he worked in Yalta as a watchman at the Clearing of Fairy Tales, wrote many scripts for cartoons, children's plays and poems.

Slide 3

In 1990 he published his first book, “Bad Advice.” Or “Violation of the rules of politeness, decency, etiquette and others.” Teachers swooned over it, and children and parents read it with delight.

Slide 4

"If you're down the hall
Ride your bike
And towards you from the bathroom
Dad went out for a walk
Don't turn into the kitchen
There is a solid refrigerator in the kitchen,
You better brake for dad,
Dad is soft. He will forgive."

Slide 5

After “Bad Advice,” Grigory Oster began to compose interesting problems, and “The Problem Book” was published. PROBLEM: 150 boys pulled the pigtails of 285 girls. 80 jerks roared, and the rest fought back. How many girls fought back?

Slide 6

Then the writer came up with “Nothing Science”, “Candy Science”, “Writerature”, “Apartment Science”, “Papamalogy”, “Vizgculture”, “Escado Island”, “A Book about the Cannibal’s Tasty and Healthy Food”, “Petka the Microbe”.

***Textbooks on these important subjects have already begun to appear in stores.

Slide 7

“Nothing more beautiful than childhood
It is not given to a person.
Its light rushes through the years
In a growing soul.
Know that in every adult heart
There is a treasured corner
Curled up there
Dad's old belt."

Slide 8

"When the parents run in
And they will start asking,
What were you thinking about when
Spit from the window
He fed the vacuum cleaner salad,
He set fire to newspapers
And pushed me down from the balcony
Porcelain service,
Ask your parents:
But they themselves
What were you hoping for when
One day suddenly
We decided to have a boy
And they brought you in?”

Slide 9

In addition to harmful advice and tasks, Grigory Oster writes wonderful fairy tales. One of them is “A Tale with Details”. It has 2 chapters: chapter one and chapter last. And the rest is “details”.

Slide 10

Have you ever had to solve the following problems:

  • “We divide the bridge plus the ears by the pike, subtract the motorcycle with the sidecar and multiply the result by the sheep.
  • We divide what we get again. Now on to dominoes. As a result, we have: decent speed and horns in the mind. Everything is correct, the answer agrees"
  • This is how one of the characters in the book, Ivan, calculated the speed of his motorcycle.
  • Slide 11

“Prepare your briefcase in the evening,
    First put
    Textbooks there, then
    Pour out the pencils
    Add notebooks, crumble them
    Completed diary
And, fill with boiling water, put
    On low fire..."

    Slide 12

There was a time when even scientists believed that the smallest creatures in the world were fleas. No one thought that next to us, inside us and around us there was huge world invisible - microbes. It is about these invisible creatures that Grigory Oster wrote the fairy tale “PETKA-MICROB”

    Slide 13

    • This fairy tale is not simple, but SCIENTIFICALLY EDITIONAL.
    • From it you can learn about the microscope, harmful and beneficial microbes, how kefir and curdled milk are made, and how scientists work.
    • How many of you want to become a scientist or a doctor?
    • Then this fairy tale is for you.
  • Slide 14

“Don’t wear a coat or jacket,
    Don't wear socks
Run out into the cold and slush
    Light from home.
Go without a hat, but shorts
    Always take with you
So that if you suddenly catch a cold, you can
You can blow your nose in them.”

    Slide 15

    "If your desk neighbor
    Became a source of infection
Hug him and off to school
You won’t come for two weeks.”

    Slide 16

    "If you have dirty nails
    Walk for two weeks
    That's under every dirty nail
    A terrible poison will start,
    And when during a fight
    Scratch the enemy
Silently he is in terrible torment
He will die before your eyes."

    Slide 17

“When, having opened the first aid kit, you
    You'll find pills there
    Don't be picky, take it
    And eat everything.
    Let your mother praise you
    Great appetite
When under the cabinet with the cross
    Then he will find you."

    Slide 18

    "Don't be offended by him
Who hits you with their hands?
And don't be lazy every time
    Thank him
    For sparing your strength
He hits you with his hands
And I could take it in these hands
And a stick and a brick."

    Slide 19

    "Lost Child"
    Must remember that it's
They will take you home as soon as he tells you his address.
    We need to act smarter
    Say: "I live
Near a palm tree with a monkey
    On distant islands."
    Lost child
    If he's not a fool,
Will not miss the right opportunity
    IN different countries visit"

    Slide 20

    "Running away from the tram,
Don't rush under the dump truck.
    Wait at the traffic light
    Won't show up yet
    Ambulance car-
    It's full of doctors.
    Let them crush you.
    They’ll heal themselves later.”

    Slide 21

    "Do your deeds
    Go to another area
    Because if at home
    You will do them
    Shocked neighbors
They can take an example from you,
    And then in your neighborhood
It will become impossible to live.”

    Slide 22

    "Approaching strange boys,
    The girl should already
To meet them, make angry faces,
    Show stones, sticks, fists.
Let them still feel from afar,
That the girl won’t let herself be offended.”

    Slide 23

"With the hands of no one anywhere
    Don't touch anything.
    Don't get involved in anything
    And don't go anywhere.
    Move aside silently
    Stand modestly in the corner
    And stand quietly without moving,
    Until your old age."

    Slide 24

    • Some, reading these books, laugh merrily, others write indignant letters and criticize. But the many thousands of copies of the writer’s books are in demand by readers.
    • He became a laureate of the “Golden Key” reader's choice competition (1996). More than 60 cartoons have been filmed based on his scripts.
    • A kitten named Woof, the heroes of the series “38 Parrots” and other characters invented by Grigory Oster have taken a strong place among children’s favorites.

    During the classes.

    Organizing time.

    Checking homework.

Reading by roles of the story by Yu.I. Ermolaev "Educators".

Why do you think the writer gave this title to the story? (The author laughs and makes fun of these boys.)

Why did the boys' good endeavors fail? (Because they got down to business too zealously and saw in each child the offender of the other; they tried to raise and teach children without understanding the reason.)

    Call stage.

    1. Problem situation.

    Technique "Key words".

“A Kitten Named Woof”, “38 Parrots”, “Grandma Boa Constrictor”, “Tail Exercise”, “Beloved Math Guide”, “Bad Advice”. (slide 1)

At the very beginning, only the first 4 phrases are opened.

What is written on the board? Tell me, what of this is familiar to you? How do you think they are related?

If the children were unable to answer, another expression is revealed. The question is asked again:

How are these phrases connected now?

The last expression is revealed, by which children can guess that all these are the works of the writer Georgy Oster. (slide 2)

    2. Statement of the educational task.

Today in class we should get acquainted with the works of G. Oster.

    Conception phase.

    1. Working with the writer’s biography.

    - Which books by this writer have you already read?

Grigory Oster has many different interesting books. Now you will learn a little about the life of the writer.

    Reception "Question table".

On the desks are sheets of paper with a short biography of the writer. Children should use this additional material to fill in the columns of the table.

Guys, you have sheets of paper on your desks, on which you can see short biography writer. (One student reads the biography). (slide 3)

Pick up a pencil and mark those points that you found most interesting (there should be at least three).

2 - 3 students read out what they noted.

Below you see a table that consists of 5 columns. Questions are written at the very top. Your task is to fill in the columns of the table using the material that you have marked..

Children begin to fill out the table together with the teacher, then continue on their own.

Checking the completed table. 2-3 students read out what happened.

Met with interesting facts from the writer’s life, now let’s get acquainted with his works.

    2. Working with “Bad Advice”.

Opened page 183. We read the first tip on our own and get ready to read it out loud.
    - Explain the meaning of this advice.
    - What useful advice is hidden in this harmful one? (IN public transport give up your seat to older people).

    Work in pairs.

Each couple receives one piece of bad advice. Children are preparing to read them expressively, explain the meaning of the advice, and select useful advice.

Checking work in pairs. (slides 4 – 9). Compiling a collection of useful tips.

    Why is advice called good?

    3. Work with the story “How legends are made.”

Read the title of the story. How do you understand the word “legend”? (slide 10).

Legend - 1) a poetic legend about some historical event. 2) About the heroic events of the past. 3) Fictitious information about yourself of someone who is performing a secret mission.

    "Reading with stops" technique.

What do you think this story is about?

In order to find out whether this is true or not, start reading the story.

    Read the first paragraph. Stop.

We started reading, tell me, are our assumptions about what the story is about so far justified?

We read the legend about the boy. We compare the text with our assumptions.

Similar work is done with the legend of a girl who ate very poorly and did not drink milk at all.

Now try to make up your own legends.

    2 – 3 students tell legends.

    Reflection phase.

    Reception "Sinquain".

    How legends are made

In early childhood, people believe in everything. And the invisible hat, and Baba Yaga, and the fact that there are boys and girls in the world who never play around, always obey their elders and wipe their feet from morning to evening before going anywhere... In Every country, every city, even every yard tells its own myths and legends. And in front of you, dear reader, there are legends that are told to each other in Lavrov Lane. There are ancient legends on Lavrov Lane that great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers told to grandparents, grandfathers and grandmothers to fathers and mothers, and fathers and mothers still tell them to their children. For example, there is a legend about a boy who never washed his face. (stop)

They told him: “Look at you! Who do you look like?" And he answered: “To grandfather and a little to Aunt Raya, who lives in Odessa.” In the end he became so dirty that one day his mother did not recognize him and did not let him home. The unfortunate child had to go into the forest, and the whole later life

he lived there, sitting on a tree. (stop)

There is another story about a girl who ate very poorly and did not drink milk at all. (stop) This girl became so thin and light that one day the wind carried her away. And I didn’t bring it back. They say she is still flying upside down somewhere... (stop)

These are the amazing myths and legends that parents tell their children on Lavrov Lane. But the legends that the boys and girls of Lavrovy Lane tell each other are even more amazing.

    Hello, hello

    Dear - respect

    I'll guess, I'll guess

    Stay late - stay late

We talked and got to talking

Get acquainted - let's get acquainted

With pleasure - with a boa constrictor

    Memorize:

    One two three four five!

I'm starting to not know you!

    Disperse, scatter.

    To meet again.

    2. Reading of the passage by the teacher.

Hello, dear Child! A children's writer is writing to you. This writer is me. My name is Grigory Oster. I don’t know what your name is, but I can guess. And I also guess that you want to hear some kind of fairy tale. If I'm guessing correctly, then listen. And if I guess wrong and you don’t want to listen to the story, then don’t listen. The fairy tale will not go anywhere, it will wait for you. Come whenever you want, and you will hear it all from beginning to end.

But you, dear Child, don’t stay too long, otherwise you will become an adult and it will no longer be so interesting for you to listen to a fairy tale about a baby elephant, a monkey, a boa constrictor and a parrot.

This baby elephant, parrot, boa constrictor and monkey lived in Africa. Every day they got together and came up with something interesting.

- the monkey waved his hands. - That's not what I wanted to say at all. I wanted to say: what a pity that we already know each other.

“And I,” said the little elephant. - With pleasure.

But we already know each other! - The parrot shrugged.

That’s what I’m saying,” the monkey sighed. - What a pity!

Friends! - the boa constrictor suddenly said and waved his tail. - Why don’t we meet again?

You can’t meet someone twice in a row! - said the parrot. - If you know someone, then it’s forever. There's nothing you can do about it.

And we,” suggested the little elephant, “let’s take it and get to know each other first!”

Right! - said the boa constrictor. - Let's go our separate ways, and then we'll meet by chance and get to know each other.

Oh! - the baby elephant became worried. - What if we don’t meet by chance?

Well, that’s just not a problem! - said the parrot. - If we don’t meet by chance, we’ll meet on purpose later.

The monkey covered her eyes with her hands and shouted:

    One two three four five!
I'm starting to not know you!
    Scatter, scatter,
    To meet again!

When the monkey opened his eyes, there was no one there. Then a baby elephant came out from behind a tree. A boa constrictor crawled out of the grass. And a parrot crawled out from under a bush. Everyone looked at each other kindly and began to get to know each other.

The monkey shook the parrot's wing. The parrot shook the baby elephant's trunk. The baby elephant shook the boa constrictor's tail. And they all said to each other: “Let's get to know each other!” And then they said: “It was very nice to meet you!”

And it really was so pleasant that since then they met twice every day. In the morning, when we met, and in the evening, when we said goodbye, before going to bed.

    3. Initial check of understanding.

    - Who is this tale about?

    - Where did the fairy tale heroes live?

    - What did they usually do?

    - Why did they decide to “Separate and run away”?

    - Which best qualities did the monkey notice in his friends? Read it.

    - Prove with text that it was nice to meet you again.

    5. Consolidation and generalization of material.

What other books by Grigory Oster do you know?

    "Bad advice"

Harmful advice for naughty children (obedient children are prohibited from reading)

    If a friend's birthday

I invited you to my place,

You leave the gift at home -

It will come in handy yourself.

Try to sit next to the cake.

    Don't engage in conversations.

    You're talking

    Eat half as much candy.

    Choose smaller pieces

    To swallow faster.

Don't grab the salad with your hands

You can scoop up more with a spoon.

If they suddenly give you nuts,

Place them carefully in your pocket,

But don't hide the jam there -

It will be difficult to remove.

    If to dad or mom

    The adult aunt came

    And someone important leads

    And a serious conversation

    Need from behind unnoticed

sneak up on her and then

    Shout loudly in your ear:

    Stop! Give up! Hands up!

And when auntie gets off the chair

    He'll fall out of fright

And he'll spill it on his dress

    Tea, compote or jelly,

    It's probably very loud

    Mom will laugh

    And, proud of my child,

    Dad will shake your hand.

Dad will take you by the shoulder

    And it will lead somewhere.

It'll probably be there for a very long time

    Dad will praise you.

    If you're not sure yet

We chose the path in life,

    And you don't know why

    Start your labor journey,

Break the light bulbs in the hallways -

People will tell you, "Thank you."

    You will help the people

    Save electricity.

If you are invited to dinner,

    Hide proudly under the sofa

    And lie there quietly,

So that they don’t find you right away.

And when from under the sofa

They will drag you by the legs,

    Break out and bite

Don't give up without a fight.

    If they do get you

And they will seat you at the table,

    Knock back the cup

Pour the soup on the floor.

Cover your mouth with your hands

    Fall down from the chair.

    And throw the cutlets up,

Let them stick to the ceiling.

In a month people will say

    Sincerely about you:

    He looks thin and frail,

    But the character is strong.

To kick you out of your apartment

    Various flies and mosquitoes,

I need to pull back the curtain

And spin it over your head.

Pictures will fly off the walls,

There are flowers from the windowsill.

    The TV will tumble

The chandelier will crash into the parquet.

    And escaping from the roar.

    Mosquitoes will fly away

    And the frightened flies

    The flock will rush south.

    Never allow

    Set a thermometer for yourself

    And don't swallow pills

    And don't eat powders.

Let your stomach and teeth hurt,

    Throat, ears, head,

    Don't take any medicine anyway

And don't listen to the doctor.

    The heart stops beating

    But for sure

They won't stick mustard plaster on you

And they won't give you an injection.

    If you stayed at home

    Alone without parents

    I can offer you

    An interesting game.

    Called "The Brave Chef"

    Or "brave cook".

The essence of the game is preparation.

    All kinds of delicious dishes.

    I suggest for starters

    Here's a simple recipe:

    Need to wear daddy's shoes

    Pour out my mother's perfume,

    And then these shoes

    Apply shaving cream

And pour fish oil on them

    With black mascara in half,

Throw in the soup that mom

I prepared it in the morning.

    And cook with closed lid

    Exactly seventy minutes.

    You'll find out what happens

    When the adults come.

If your friend is the best

    Slipped and fell

Point your finger at a friend

    And grab your stomach...

Let him see, lying in a puddle, -

    You're not upset at all.

    A real friend doesn't love

    Upset your friends.

There is no more pleasant thing to do

What to pick your nose with.

    Everyone is terribly interested

    What's hidden inside?

And who is disgusted to look,

    Let him not even look.

We don't get in his way,

Let him not bother you either.

Beat your friends without a break

Every day for half an hour,

    And your muscles

It will become stronger than a brick.

    And with mighty hands

    You, when the enemies come,

You can do it in difficult times

    Protect your friends.

    Never wash your hands

    Neck, ears and face.

This is a stupid thing to do

    Doesn't lead to anything.

Your hands will get dirty again

    Neck, ears and face.

    So why waste energy?

    Time to waste.

It's also useless to get a haircut,

    There's no point.

    By old age by itself

    Your head will go bald.

    If you're down the hall

    Ride your bike

And to meet you from the bathroom

Dad went out for a walk

    Don't turn into the kitchen

There is a solid refrigerator in the kitchen.

    Better brake like dad.

Dad is soft. He will forgive.

    If your mom bought you

There is only a ball in the store

And he doesn't want the rest

    Buy everything he sees,

    Stand straight, heels together,

Place your arms to the sides,

    Open your mouth wider

And shout the letter: - A!

    And when, dropping the bags,

With a cry: - Citizens! Anxiety!

    Buyers will rush

With a saleswoman at the head,

The store director is here to see you

He will come up and tell his mother:

    Take everything for free

    Just don't let him scream!

If the whole family goes swimming

    You went to the river

    Don't bother mom and dad

    Sunbathing on the shore.

    Don't start a scream

    Give the adults a break.

    Without pestering anyone

    Try to drown.

What other books do you know? Now I’ll introduce you to the “Mathematics Problem Book”

    PREFACE

Shall I tell you a sadistic joke? A children's writer comes to his readers and says: “And I wrote a new book for you - a math problem book.” This is probably the same as putting a bowl of porridge instead of a cake on your birthday. But to be honest, the book opened in front of you is not exactly a problem book.

    For adults

No, no, the tasks here are real. For second, third and fourth grades. All of them have a solution and help to consolidate the material covered in the corresponding class. However, the main task of the “problem book” is not to reinforce the material, and these problems have nothing to do with what is called entertaining mathematics. I think that these problems will not arouse any professional interest among the winners of mathematical Olympiads. These problems are just for those who don’t like mathematics and who habitually consider solving problems to be dreary and tedious work. Let them doubt it!

    For children

Dear guys, this book is deliberately called “Problem Book” so that it can be read in math class and not hidden under the desk. And if the teachers begin to be indignant, say: “We don’t know anything, the Ministry of Education has allowed it.”

Firefighters are trained to put on their pants in three seconds. How many pants can a well-trained firefighter put on in five minutes?

If you quietly sneak up behind grandpa and dad and suddenly shout: “Hurray!”, dad will jump 18 cm. Grandfather, who has gone through difficult years and much worse, will jump only 5 cm. How many centimeters higher than grandpa will dad jump when he hears the sudden “ Hooray!"?

Two numbers 5 and 3 once came to a place where many different things were lying around, and began to look for theirs. Find the difference between these numbers.

Tolya bet with Kolya that he would eat 5 jars of shoe polish, but he only ate 3. How many jars of shoe polish could Tolya not eat?

While raising his poor son, dad wears out 2 trouser belts a year. How many belts did dad wear during all eleven years of school, if it is known that in the fifth grade his son was repeated twice?

In the elevator, the button for the first floor is located at a height of 1 m 20 cm from the floor. The button for each next floor is 10 cm higher than the previous one. Which floor can a little boy, whose height is 90 cm, get to in an elevator if, by jumping, he can reach a height that is 45 cm higher than his height?

If you put Dasha, who weighs 45 kg, and Natasha, who weighs 8 kg less, on one scale, and 89 kg of different sweets are poured on the other, then how many kg of sweets will the unfortunate girls have to eat in order for the scales to be in balance?
